As we get closer to the holiday season and the end of 2020, more of our fellow Texans are in need this year than we can ever remember. It’s one of the reasons why this holiday season we are taking a more hands on approach to help collect donations and items for different organizations across Texas.

In an open letter to clients, associates and friends Co-Founder Ray Trevino notes that we are all going through “a time of dramatic change.” Which by all accounts it is true for all of us. We are all dealing with something that none of us have ever had to deal with before. Whether that be with our health, our level of employment, or maybe some of us reading this have gone for the first time to rely on a food bank to provide groceries for you and your family.

The reality is that there is a need for assistance in our communities. That’s why this holiday season Pioneer Texas is helping a variety of charities, from various food banks and Toys For Tots, to taking a more hands on approach and finding families in need in our own communities. If you think about how much of a challenge this year has been for you personally and financially, think about the strain that places like the San Antonio Food Bank or North Texas Food Bank have been and will be under this holiday season. Over the course of the year, some of these charitable organizations have seen their financial contributions diminish while their product donations have remained steady. It is through these financial contributions that these organizations get the remainder of what they need and serve their communities. For example, when you donate just one dollar to the San Antonio or North Texas Food Bank, that donation then turns into SEVEN meals.

Giving back to our communities is one of our most important initiatives every year. During the Thanksgiving week, we have found a family and will be providing their Thanksgiving meal. If you are interested in joining Pioneer Texas and helping those in need, we urge you to help and give to these charities.

In the “Open Letter of Thanks”, co-founder Ray Trevino goes on to say, “Mike and I did not know, when forming Pioneer Texas how significant we would be, all the lives we would touch, and the people we would keep safe through our journey. Thanks to the commitment provided by our PTX Family, we will continue to provide great quality service for all, for many years to come!” You can read the entire letter of Thanks by clicking here.
